Home » Lannemezan
Lannemezan is situated in about forty kilometres of Tarbes and of Lourdes. Situated in 600 metres in height, on the famous Tray known for all our pupils enters Bigorre, Comminges and Armagnac will not leave you indiferent. The town is built on a land of legend. Highway robbers haunted the middle moors which gave Lannemezan its name. Despite the steep slope from Capvern, the town was linked by railway and has a wealthy industrial past in electrometallurgy. However, Pechiney gradually pulled out of all its Pyrenees sites, leaving Lannemezan to become just another township. Generous and warm, the kitchen holds a place of choice in the tradition of reception of Lannemezan. Impossible indeed do not to succumb to the local specialities cooked on base of simple products of the farm.
