The 3 star Hotel Hospital de Benasque is located in the Posets Maladeta natural reserve and next to the Aneto mountain peak. It is a cosy and familiar hotel, open all year round. In summer, it’s ideal for mountain activities (Nordic walking, hiking, high mountain). In winter, it is perfect for winter sports as it’s right by the Nordic ski resort, Llanos del Hospital. Inside the hotel, the stone walls, the locally crafted wood furnishings, and the hand-painted decoration, give a typical and warmful mountain atmosphere that make Benasque’s Valley different from the other valleys of the Pyrenees.
The Hotel Hospital de Benasque has existed in this place for many centuries to offer travellers who cross the pass to France a safe place to stay during their journey. The Knights of the Saint John of Jerusalem’s order, founded the hospital of Benasque to benefit the peregrines and the travellers at the end of the 12th century.
In the first floor are located the service’s area. The concierge desk offers the services of information, telephone box, fax and strongbox. There are also located the restaurant, the snack-bar, both with huge windows that offer spectacular views of the valley. In the second floor are the duplex and the special double rooms (perfect for families). In the third floor, the large and cosy double rooms, with views of the surrounding mountains, are faithful to the Mountain feel of the Aragon Pyrenees region, which invites you to relax and enjoy, and the general feeling of ease to be found in every part of the hotel.
