The 18 hole Osona Montanya Golf course is 5 minute drive from the Hotel. It is comprised of 4 par 3 holes, 10 par 4 and 4 par 5. It is a fairly standard country course with long fairways, semi-rough and rough. The excellent greens are undulating and difficult. The Osona Montanya Golf course is situated on the north-west slope of the Montseny Natural Park, which covers a surface of 17,300 ha. and at an elevation of 779 meters above sea level. This specially protected area was designated Biosphere Reserve by Unesco in 1978. Because of differences in altitude and climate, the area contains vegetation, flora and fauna ranging from typically Mediterranean to sub alpine. This circumstance has led to an abundance of luxuriant extremes, which provides this area with one of the richest natural environments in Europe and the Mediterranean. The natural environment is not threatened by golf and an ecological balance is necessary and possible. In the inspiring environment of El Montanya, we can demonstrate the balance provided between the pleasure of playing golf and the contemplation of the development of biological diversity.

Guests arriving at Barcelona's El Prat Airport should take the ring road Ronda Litoral or Ronda de Dalt, then the AP7 motorway towards Girona. Take Exit 2 for Vic/Puigcerda, and then the C17 towards Vic. Turn off for Aiguafreda, and continue towards the El Montanya development area. It is approximately 4 km to the hotel.
