Hotel Aldori Landetxea is a lovingly restored old Basque farmhouse, a retreat that manages to be chic and rustic. It is situated in the heart province of Biscay, in the region of Urdaibai, declared a World Heritage site and Biosphere Reserve.

The Aldori Landetxea House has a extraordinary history, that you will discover through the eyes of those who lived there. Owners have a keen sense of family history and pay homage to their grandfather with images of the White House and Kennedy. José Luis Pértica was working in the US merchant navy for several years and visiting remote countries as Vietnam. The Aunt Maria Rosa is also remembered with her 1947 tickets from New York to Bilbao in big size originally decorating the walls of one corridor.

The 6 Rooms are really characterful and the bathrooms sublime. The bedrooms of the Aldori Landetxea are nicely furnished and decorated in a modern way.

Aldori Landetxea is a charming, picturesque Country House where you can appreciate the Basque green and lush countryside. It is a point of inflection and reflection between Sollube, Oiz, Bizkargi and San Miguel de Ereñozar. The Aldori Landetxea offers traditional meals using local farm products. Hotel has lovely common areas such as a Chill-Out lounge, terrace or a relaxing garden.
