Designed by Ramon Espinosa, Golf Fontanals de Cerdanya was opened in 1994. The 18 hole course, set in the wide Cerdanya valley surrounded by high Pyrenean peaks, is characterized by its perfect integration in this beautiful natural environment. The Peugeot Golf guide listed this course amongst the top 11 in Europe and it’s not hard to understand why. The course is a challenge for all golfers, with water coming into play on many occasions along with numerous bunkers both around the greens and on the fairways.
Besides the excellent and spacious practice facilities, learners can give the game a try on the 3 short holes constructed especially for novice players. A delicious lunch can be had in the recently built Club Restaurant with views overlooking part of the course and the surrounding area.
