Escuain and Anisclo Canyons

To this day, on the Northern façade of Monte Perdido there remain small glaciers, geological jewels which are rapidly becoming scarce. Monte Perdido is integrated in the massif bearing same name, also known as the Tres Sorores, which are at the origin of Ordesa’s valleys, traversed by the river Azaras, shaping spectacular waterfalls in its descent, at the origin of the valley of Añisclo, which narrows the river Bellós, at the origin of the valley of Escuaín, cleaved through by the river Yaga and at the origin of the valley of Pineta, where the river Cinca is born.
