This Basque family restaurant has been passed down through generations. With its latest owners it has be come the talk of fine dining in Spain. Head chefs Juan Mari Arzak and his daughter Elena Arzak are constantly working on innovative recipes to keep this eatery on the cutting edge of European cooking. Tapas are a regional favourite in Spain and they are a must in this restaurant.

Truffle oil is almost a vice for Juan Mari as he uses it in most of his dishes. If you are in the mood for some quality Basque cooking put on some of your finest apparel, make sure you have haven’t reached the limits on your credit cards, and head down to this gem in San Sebastian.
