15km to the east of La Iglesuela, is Villafranca del Cid, across the border in Castellon Province and at the end of the bus route from either Teruel or Morella. Straddling the hillside, this is a lively, attractive village, and with a population of 3000 it¡s larger than most places around here. The only place to stay in the centre is the Hostal Prismark, c/Sagrado corazon de Jesus 964 440 247;, which has good-value en-suite rooms; L’Om de Llosar 964 441 325; 2km out of town by a little ermita, is more comfortable. If you decide to turn around from here, the bus to Teruel departs at 5.45am (Mon-Fri only), passing through La Iglesuela del Cid at 6am.
