Our 4 star Hotel La Terrasse au Soleil and our restaurant La Cerisaie have been certified ‘Cuisinerie Gourmande’. This authentic Catalan house, formerly the property of the French singer and songwriter Charles Trenet, is located on the hills of the village of Ceret, between the Mediterranean sea and the Pyrenees mountains. The name of this hotel means in English, sun bathed terraces, it was given this name because most of the rooms have wonderful terraces facing the splendid view of mount Canigou.
All the rooms are decorated in lively colors of the south of France: Yellow and blue. In the main house, on top of the restaurant, they have connecting rooms which are usually rented by families and a very nice apartment as well with lots of space and very comfortable modern installations. This 4 star hotel is less than twenty five kilometers from the beach and at the same time, very near to the Spanish border. A heated swimming pool and a well lit tennis court are part of the installations.
